Not exactly sure what inspired this, but somehow, the Mayor got out of his speck of a world and into Horton's for a face-to-face meeting, but it turned out to be more of a...face-to-foot one in this case.
It was actually kind of hard to construct this scene because I wanted to get the proportions as close to accurate as possible, but if Whoville is a speck of dust you can barely see, the Whos are obviously even smaller and I couldn't rightly accomplish that with what I did here. So yeah, I know the sizing is inaccurate, but...bah, I had fun doing this one--particularly drawing Ned's expression.  Image © Artistic Savant Horton Hears A Who! © Dr. Seuss |
